Colorado Uncovered started as a single photo of a woman sipping a latte at a sidewalk café. It would have been a pleasant, though generic shot, if she hadn't been completely naked.

And thus began our photographic journey around Colorado capturing well known and not so well known points of interest, beauty or history with our signature addition-a tasteful nude.

Reactions to our book concept were surprisingly consistent; first incredulity. "No way!" Next came logistical questioning. "How the heck did you do that?" Followed by participation. "You've got to get a picture of (fill in the blank) in your book" or "Can I be in your book?" And yes, there were a few individuals who just didn't get it at all, but not very many!

Within Colorado Uncovered we hope you'll find pictures you enjoy for their beauty, color and composition, some images that bring a smile to your face with a bit of understanding of why we couldn't resist that shot, and others that make you want to visit the locations and learn more about Colorado and its rich geography and history.

We hope you'll join us at a book signing party and an evening of photographic art and storytelling. As you might imagine there's a story behind every picture in Colorado Uncovered. The outtakes and snippets of information scattered throughout just hint at the tales to be told.
